Settings
Every event has its own Settings area in the event dashboard sidebar, alongside two closely related sections: Pages (all portal-facing copy) and System Emails (every email template the event sends). This guide covers all of them, plus the workspace-level settings owners manage from Mission Control.
Event Info
Settings → Event Info (shown as Event Setup) covers the basics:
- Event name
- Location — venue, online, or to-be-announced, with full address details.
- Guest list currency
- Website
Press Save changes after editing.
Dates
Settings → Dates manages your event dates — “Event dates are shared by accreditation passes, vehicles, and reporting,” so keep them accurate.
Use New Event Date to add a date with a name/type (e.g. “Show Day 1”), edit existing ones, or delete dates no longer needed.
Branding — the Event Brand Kit
Settings → Branding controls how everything event-facing looks:
| Setting | Used where |
|---|---|
| Logo for dark backgrounds (light logo) | Portals and dark/colourful surfaces. |
| Logo for light backgrounds (dark logo) | Emails and light surfaces. |
| Event background image | The main portal background. |
| Primary colour | Accent colour across pages and emails. |
| Page background | Choose Background image or Block colour. |
Team portals, crew pages, public guest passes, and emails all pick up this brand kit automatically.
Groups
Settings → Groups manages the categories your teams live in (Production Suppliers, Artists, etc.).
- New Group — set a name, colour, and Default Modules (which modules teams in this group can access in the team portal).
- Trimming default modules per group is one of the “Good next steps” — your Traders probably don’t need Vehicles.
Users & Roles
Settings → Users shows the System Users assigned to this event, with two tabs:
- Users — who has access to this event’s dashboard.
- Roles — “Create roles with granular module permissions, then assign them to users.” Each role has:
- Role details — name and description.
- Group scope — optionally limit the role to specific event groups.
- Permissions — per-module permission toggles.
Use roles to give, say, a catering coordinator access to only the Catering module.
Modules
Settings → Modules (Edit Modules) turns modules on or off for this event. Accreditation and Communication are always required. Turning a module off hides it from the sidebar and portals — no data is deleted, so you can re-enable it later.
Integrations
Settings → Integrations connects external tools. Each integration shows its status — Not connected, Needs setup, Active, Error, or Pro required — with Set up / Manage buttons.
Activity log
Settings → Activity log — “Track record updates, sign-ins, and security events for this event.” Filter by category and action. Retention depends on your plan.
Pages — editing portal copy
Pages is where you edit the words your teams, crew, and guests actually read. Every portal section has a default page — Team Homepage, Crew Homepage, Accreditation, Guest List, Catering, Inductions, Vehicles, Document Submissions, Forms, and more.
- Edit any default page’s rich content to make it yours.
- Create Page for extra standalone information pages.
- Duplicate, delete, or Copy from event to reuse content from a previous event.
Module settings then choose which Info Page each group sees — for example, Guest List settings pick the Guestlist Information page per group, and Induction settings pick the Induction Information page.
Reviewing the page content is one of the first “Good next steps” for every new event — the defaults are sensible but generic.
System Emails
System Emails manages every email template the event sends, in three tabs:
Emails
Your template library. Each template has a name, a type (Standard Email or Call To Action), and a subject. Use New Email Template to add one, or Copy from event to reuse templates from a previous event. Templates in use (e.g. selected by a ticket type or induction) can’t be deleted until unlinked.
These templates are what modules reference: accreditation pass types pick a pass approved template, guest list ticket types pick ticket and donation templates, and induction group settings pick induction invite templates.
Send log
A record of what has actually been sent.
Configuration
Email delivery settings, including the Reply-To email for the event.
Workspace settings (Mission Control, owners)
Separate from event settings, workspace owners manage from Mission Control:
- Settings → Application:
- Workspace Branding — workspace name, login background colour, light/dark logos.
- Domains — your subdomain (contact support to change it) and custom domains.
- Ownership — transfer workspace ownership (password confirmed).
- Billing — per-event Pro subscriptions, the Stripe billing portal, and invoices.
- API — personal tokens, integration keys, and webhooks.
